Determines whether the search source is applicable for a particular search.

Namespace:  Telogis.GeoBase.Geocoding
Assembly:  geobase.net (in geobase.net.dll) Version: 4.99.0.0
Syntax
public virtual bool IsApplicableToSearch(
	LocationSearchBaseArgs args
)

Parameters

args
Type: Telogis.GeoBase.GeocodingLocationSearchBaseArgs
The location search arguments.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
A boolean specifying whether the source is applicable to the search.
Remarks

The implementation of this method should be quick; no actual lookups should be performed. Examples of checks that could be done include regular expression matches on the query, or other parameter checks that are used to distinguish between alternate sources (such as different geocoders that are suited to prefix or full queries, respectively).

There is no need to validate requested result types, since this is handled prior to this call being made based on the value of HandledResultTypes.
