Alchemy is a tool that allows custom GeoBase datasets to be created from shapefile or CSV data sources. Each GBFS file could be viewed as a table, with a series of columns. GeoBase is familiar with a number of predefined columns, and relies on these predefined columns for much of it's functionality.
